Jovial fairy

When I saw you for the first time.

I decided to write a rhyme.

I knew that you were as sweet as wine.

In vanity I thought that you could be mine.

When I saw you for the first time.

Your elegance made me feel fine.

I knew others were vile.

You are fresh like the river Nile.

You’re brighter than the sunshine.

You shall eternally comply me to rhyme.

For your glance I won't mind waiting for a while.

Malhar fairy

The circumstances were impeding
but you were superseding.

Your innocence caused cognitive
dissonance.

Your eyes were scintillating like
the stars in the sky.

The span was vile because I had to
wait for a while.

Your long and lustrous tresses were trailing in the wind
and my heart was leaping for you forbidden.

The way you and your friend nodded,
I certainly doubted.

The way you were leering,
I was fearing.

Because of you I discovered the fain
In pain.

Your slender legs would propel anyone to commit
Blunder.

You were evading but romantic emotions in my heart
were prevailing.

I saw the vanity in your eyes,
There was insanity in my mind.

Your beautiful dreams evolve every night
due To which I have to switch on the light.

I know you are a fairy from paradise and I’m a demon
From the world of prejudice.

This poetry is dedicated to the charming girl (Malhar fairy) who I saw in Malhar, 15-08-08,

ST. Xavier’s college festival.
She was standing on the external side of the foyer which leads to the washrooms. This poetry of mine conveys the story. I wish that I would have been more articulate and told her my true feelings rather than acquiring implicitly in the form of this poetry.

Snow white

Her eyes were glittering like the comet
which motivated me to write a sonnet.

She is so white even the moon shall envy
her sight.

The way she swings her palm
makes me feel calm.

The way she whispers makes
my heart tremors.

When I give you a look,
I forget to read the book.

You are so pretty and you make
me feel witty.

You are the one who I always coveted and in your
search I always wandered.

I accept your command with alacrity
even after it causes mutiny.

This poetry is dedicated to my ad design professor; they should never be so pretty because you shall end up writing poetry for them rather than mastering your wisdom.

Poetry for my father

There is a shoulder which shouldered me. There is a savior who always saves me. There is a hand which is always craving to help. There is a friend who is always ready to listen. There is a guide who always simplifies my approach towards the world. He is none other but my father. Who possesses the prowess to resolve any matter even when I’m trapped in the clutter of problems. His shadow always protects me and his wisdom always benefits me.
Sonnet
Oh father you possess the prowess to solve any matter.
You seem to overcome my clutter.
You make my life smooth as butter.
You are the one who can pull me out of any endeavor.
I know you are always there for me forever.
Your hand shall never leave my shoulder.
You are clever.
You make me understand the world better.
