Malhar fairy

The circumstances were impeding
but you were superseding.

Your innocence caused cognitive
dissonance.

Your eyes were scintillating like
the stars in the sky.

The span was vile because I had to
wait for a while.

Your long and lustrous tresses were trailing in the wind
and my heart was leaping for you forbidden.

The way you and your friend nodded,
I certainly doubted.

The way you were leering,
I was fearing.

Because of you I discovered the fain
In pain.

Your slender legs would propel anyone to commit
Blunder.

You were evading but romantic emotions in my heart
were prevailing.

I saw the vanity in your eyes,
There was insanity in my mind.

Your beautiful dreams evolve every night
due To which I have to switch on the light.

I know you are a fairy from paradise and I’m a demon
From the world of prejudice.

This poetry is dedicated to the charming girl (Malhar fairy) who I saw in Malhar, 15-08-08,

ST. Xavier’s college festival.
She was standing on the external side of the foyer which leads to the washrooms. This poetry of mine conveys the story. I wish that I would have been more articulate and told her my true feelings rather than acquiring implicitly in the form of this poetry.
